You know that communicating with the parents of your English language learning students is a vital part of helping them succeed in the classroom and at school. As the number of ELL children and young people in our school system today continues to grow rapidly, it is becoming more and more important to reach their parents, regardless of their language or culture. Many times, parents are uncomfortable participating in school activities, as they feel they don’t speak or understand English well enough. Would you like to improve their involvement and open the lines of communication?
